John developed his interest in photograpy when he bought his first camera while based at the U.S. Embassy in Saigon, Vietnam, during that conflict. Ever since, John has looked at much of the world through the lens of a camera.

In recent years John has tended to take one or two photographic excursions each year, and he usually has a camera with him wherever his travels take him. What you see on this site thus far is a selection from some of the trips John has made in the past, but there are additional subjects that are not yet represented until the sorting and selection process on each respective subject is completed.
